Welcome to Yuan Ze University

Yuan Ze University (YZU), was instituted in 1989as the College of Engineering through a private endowment fund given by Mr.YuZiang Hsu, the founder of the Far Eastern Group. YZU has transformed into a comprehensive university in 1997 and soon became a top-class institution in Taiwan’shigher education. With a student population of 9,000 and over 600 faculty and academic staff, YZU offers important programs in the Colleges of Engineering, Informatics, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Electrical and Communication Engineering. And all of these colleges will start the International Programs for Bachelor degree from 2017 academic year to deliver more international education programs for students. As part of the Far Eastern Group, one of the top five business firms in Taiwan, YuanZe provides students and faculty members with added values and expects ourselves to be the standard university in industry-academia liaison.
