Welcome to The University of Salford
The University of Salford has a long history of collaborating with businesses to advance its core strengths in nursing, engineering, and sports medicine. It was established in 1850 before receiving full university status in 1967, and it now has over 20,000 students enrolled on 60 acres of parkland on the banks of the River Irwell.
