Established in 1940, National Pingtung University is a non-profit public higher education institute located in the urban setting of the large town of Pingtung City (population range of 50,000-249,999 peoples), Pingtung County. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan), National Pingtung University (NPTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor’s degrees in several areas of learning.
