Established in 2000, Fo Guang University is a private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized town of Jiaosi (population range of 10,000-49,999 people), Yilan County. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan), Fo Guang University (FGU) is a small (university Rank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 pupils) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion. Fo Guang University (FGU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for admission.
