Welcome to Beijing’s institute of technology

The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), which was founded in 1940 and is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is a significant co-educational state university. Before coming to Beijing in 1949, it was created in Yan’an, Shaanxi Province. It employs roughly 3,500 academics. BIT also interacts with more than 200 leading universities around the world in 58 countries across all six continents, offering four undergraduate and 11 graduate programmes in English. It has agreements in place with 60 universities to exchange students.
