The university has always followed a vision that celebrates “Championship in Earth Stewardship, Leadership in Forestry Education,” and has made it a mandatory mission to “add a picturesque touch to the country’s mountains, rivers, and entire terrestrial landscape to turn the motherland into a lovely painting created by nature.” In terms of both theories and technologies, BFU was an active participant in the 2nd scientific and research expedition to the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, serving as an initiator and disseminator for the concept of “managing mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, and grasslands as an integrated ecological system.
