Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) is a private complete university founded by the Benedictines at the request of the Holy See in Beijing in 1926 and was re-established in 1961 in Taiwan with the joint efforts of the Society of Jesus, Society of Divine Word, and the Regional Bishops’ conference. The university consists of 11 colleges with a student body of more than 25,000.
