Founded in 1994, National Dong Hwa University is a non-profit public higher education institute located in the suburban setting of the normal-sized town of Shoufeng (population range of 10,000-49,999 peoples), Hualien County. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan), National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) is a large (university Rank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 pupils) coeducational higher education institution. National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 25 year old higher-education institution has a choosy admission policy based on entrance examinations and students past academic records and scores. The admission proportion range is 20-30% making this Taiwanese higher education organization a very selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for admission.
