Xinjiang University (XJU) is the oldest university in Xinjiang, having been established in 1924 and offering a wide range of academic specialities. Location in the World The International Bazaar, one of Urumqi’s main cultural and business centres, is near XJU, which has a lovely atmosphere. International Business & Trade Base and Western Region International Trade Base are separated by XJU. Bianjiang Hotel and the Bianjiang World Trade Base are also nearby (centres for trade with Central Asian countries). XJU provides students with easy access to transit and comfortable living quarters.
