Welcome to Aston University
Aston Institution is a vibrant, inviting, and diverse campus university located in Birmingham, the UK’s second-largest city. It was founded in 1895, and Queen Elizabeth II granted it a Royal Charter as a University in 1966. Five schools (Business, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Languages and Social Sciences, Life and Health Sciences, and Medical School) offer foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes on the site. Aston University has around 11,000 undergraduates and 2,000 postgraduate students from more than 120 countries.
