About University
Welcome to University of Stirling
The University of Stirling is located in central Scotland, and its 14,000 students represent over 120 different countries. Stirling University was established in 1967, and its campus is located on the grounds of an 18th-century castle estate on the banks of a lake, surrounded by picturesque hills. Outside of its location, the University of Stirling continues to have various distinguishing features. It is a pioneer in the use of a two-semester framework and modular degrees, allowing for a wide range of start times and study adjustments. Students can effectively change their subject as/or if their interests change because degrees are built up of credits acquired from courses.
